As I write this, Play in a Day is only a few hours away. here in the Legal Information Society's office we have boxes of "stuff" piled up and ready to ship to Neptune Theatre....... The top secret scripts, snacks, participant Swag Bags, extra performance tickets, banners, coffee, tea and of course the 3-course meal for 4 people, including wine service from Chef Richard Julien at ChefLive.ca for the team that raised the most money!! (well OK .... we don't actually have the MEAL there.... but we do have the prize!)
It's hard to believe that after months of planning and team fundraising, we will throw open the doors to participants at 7PM tonight. We will get to know each other..... and our expert producer (Jeremy Webb) will be watching over things and starting to get an inkling about who will do what.
By 9:30 or so tonight, the play will be cast and the crew will be working on breaking the script down to figure out what needs to be done. Be prepared for anything .... Jeremy always has surprises up his sleeve!!!
